Supported File Types

Pima currently supports the following types of documents.

PDFs

PDFs are the most commonly used file format used with Pima.

Every PDF sent with Pima is watermarked with the recipient information and as a result PDFs must be unprotected, without password protection, and non-encrypted. Files that do not follow those rules will not be accepted as they can not be edited to add the watermarking layer.

This is the best format for SOC 2, ISO, NDAs, BAA, HIPAA etc.

Excel & Word

Pima also supports Excel & Word format as of July 2021. This file format is most commonly used for security questionnaires such as SIG, CAIQ, etc.

Those files can not be watermarked, however access and download will still be recorded within the History of the document.
